Val is one of two Churchwardens at Aston, involved in every aspect of our church life.

Chris has worshipped at All Saints for over 35 years. Now retired, he worked in banking for 31 years. Chris enjoys history, sport, walking, reading singing, although not always at the same time.

Sue is one of two Churchwardens at Ulley and is actively involved in looking after the Church and graveyard and supporting the congregation. Sue is a keen gardener, enjoys walking and travelling.

Gwyneth is one of two Churchwardens at Ulley, she is also a Reader and her deep sense of spirituality flows through the services she leads. Gwyneth is a keen walker and can often be seen walking round the Village and surrounding countryside with Sam the dog.

Jim is a reader and has been here at All Saints for over 30 years! He is a Lancastrian and keen on Cricket having played Lancashire League. He enjoys all sports, however his sporting endeavours are now restricted to Crown Green Bowling for Todwick. Jim enjoys music, especially big band jazz and swing & country music. He often leads funerals with his own sensitive and reflective style.

Sue looks after the children during services at Holy Trinity, Ulley, guiding them through the relevant parts of the service whilst making, creating and crafting items to share with the congregation at the end of service. |

Beth is perfect for the role of Children's' Minister with her own style and flare for engaging children in relevant topics. She currently leads our Zoom services

Ian was appointed in September 2018, conducting the church choir and playing the organ at Aston. He lives in Nottingham and is the Musical Director of Carlton Male Voice Choir and a member of The Kinx tribute band.

Hazel helps with the administrative work, which primarily involves co-ordinating weddings at both All Saints, Aston and Holy Trinity, Ulley. She is also often the first point of contact for general enquiries. When not at work, Hazel often enjoys walking or watching films with her family.
Please note that Parish Office hours are between 9am and 1pm on Thursdays.
